Albert Yanik, 81, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, passed away on February 4, 2023, in the company and care of his wife, Georgia Yanik.

Al was born to parents, Albert, and Catherine (Kate) Yanik, on January 21, 1942, in Sharon, Pennsylvania.  He grew up in Hubbard, Ohio and graduated from Hubbard High School.  He received his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and obtained his master's degree from the University of Denver.

Al was most proud of his accomplishments during his 20+ years in the Air Force.  A close second to his Air Force years, he relished his time on the golf course.  He loved to tell tales about flying around with small planes full of cash during the Vietnam War and was equally happy to tell you about twice attending the Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta.

He married Georgia, in 1993, who survives him.  He is also survived by his daughters, Alicia Yanik and husband, Jeremy Putman, Marissa Ross and husband, Justin Ross; his brothers, Dr. Michael Yanik and wife, Barbara Yanik, Rick Yanik and wife, Debbie Yanik, and nieces, a nephew, and grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Bella Vista Funeral Home, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72715.
