Alvin Glenn "Al" Webber, age 95, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025, in Bentonville, Arkansas. Born on April 8, 1930, in Hugoton, Kansas to Glen and Florence Webber. Al lived a long and vibrant life filled with adventure, service, and the joy of family and friends.

A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Al carried his love for aviation into his professional life. He retired from Boeing as an aviation engineer after a distinguished career that took him to many Boeing sites across several states. His work reflected not only technical expertise but also a deep passion for flight that remained with him throughout his life.

Al's zest for life extended far beyond his career. He was an avid trap shooter and could often be found at gun clubs around the region participating in shoots well into his later years. Flying his airplane brought him immense joy, and he cherished every moment spent in the sky. Boating was another favorite pastime, as was tinkering—whether it was fixing something broken or adjusting the television just right.

He had a knack for storytelling—often with a unique twist—and never met anyone he didn't like. His warmth and humor made him a beloved presence wherever he went. During the winter months, Al and his wife Betty Jo (BJ) would head to Arizona where he enjoyed coffee outings, shooting events, golf games, or simply visiting with friends.

His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. Whether it's the sight of an airplane overhead, the sound of a shotgun echoing across a field, or the clank of cans over a shared beer—these moments will serve as gentle reminders of Al's enduring spirit.

Al was preceded in death by his son, Scott Webber and his sisters, Doris Backus and Elsie Webber.

Al is survived by his devoted wife, Betty Jo (BJ) Webber of Bella Vista, Arkansas; daughter, Mindee (Wally) Limon of Liberal, Kansas; stepdaughter, Linda (Russell) Brown of Grove, Oklahoma; and stepson, Allen Hastings of Kansas, Oklahoma.

He leaves behind a legacy through his grandchildren: Ambrosia (Jonathan) Tull, Ariana Limon, William Limon, and Teresa Limon—all of Liberal, Kansas; Anysia (Daniel) Navarrete and Anneleise Limon of Lawrence, Kansas; Dylan (Katie) Brown and Katrina Rains of Wichita, Kansas; Dustyn (Whitney) Brown and Mandi Brown of Grove, Oklahoma. He has 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.

At this time there is no memorial service planned.  May his memory bring comfort to all who were fortunate enough to know him.
