Alyson Muldoon went to be with our Lord on July 23, 2023, at the age of 72.  She married her high school sweetheart, John Muldoon when she was 20 and he was 21.  They were married for over 50 years.

Alyson was originally trained as a computer programmer.  However, she decided to be a stay-at-home mom when the kids were born.   She loved being a mom and wanted to be home to raise the kids.  She only went back to work when the kids started school.  At that time, she changed her career path to become an accountant.  While the kids were young, most of her jobs were in schools so she could ensure she was with them during school breaks.  Her career always took a back seat to ANYTHING the family needed…whether it was to move for John's career or just adjust for additional family time.

She was always the biggest supporter of the family whether it was early morning canoe race starts, school sports games, running or cycling races.  Anything the family did, she was always there to support and cheer them on.

John and Alyson moved around from Rhodesia, South Africa, and finally to the USA in 1999.  She selflessly moved countries leaving other family and friends to move with John for his career.

Alyson also loved getting to spend time with Friends and Family on the golf course, she enjoyed getting to meet new friends in her different Golf groups.

She is survived by her husband, John; her daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Tim Collie; her son and daughter-in-law, Darryl and Andrea; and her two grandchildren, Braxton and Teagen.

A celebration of life will take place at the Bella Vista Funeral Home, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd. Bella Vista, AR 72715 on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 4:00 p.m.
