Obituary

Barbara "Barb" Ann Davison Hall, 77, of Bella Vista, AR, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025, surrounded by family and friends at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, AR.

Barbara was born on October 25, 1947, in Moline, IL. She graduated from Platte County R-III High School in Platte City, Missouri, where she was an active member of the band and baton squad. After high school, she earned her beautician license and devoted her career to the profession—eventually owning and operating her own salon. Barbara was also blessed with many talents and hobbies, including cooking, baking, decorating, gardening, traveling, playing cards, and golfing.

On March 30, 1985, she married her loving and devoted husband, Richard Hall. Together, they shared a wonderful, fulfilling life enriched by a close-knit family and many cherished friends. Barb's dearest friend, Peggy Benedict, remained by her side as a loving advocate until the end.

Barb will be welcomed by those who preceded her in death, her mother, LaUna "Ticky" Hass, father, Otis Davison, and infant son, Larry Don Martin.

Barb is survived by her daughters, Melinda Ward (John) and Deanna Long (Dave), both of Kansas City, Missouri; and her stepsons, Jon Hall (Janet) of Pleasanton, California, and Preston Hall (Amy) of Liberty, Missouri. She took great pride in her grandchildren:  Ross Long, Megan Hernandez, Riley Long, Parker Hall, Charlotte Hall, Grace Hall, Elizabeth Hall, Elliott Hall, Nate Rodriguez, and Mason Rodriguez.

She is also survived by her sister, Jean Claytor (Tim) of Kansas City, Missouri, her stepfather, Carl Hass of Grant City, Missouri, and her stepsister, Ginger Skaggs of Dearborn, Missouri, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to all who supported Barb during her illness, especially the compassionate and dedicated medical staff at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas.

We will celebrate her life on June 7, 2025, at Restoration 1894 Event Venue, 1 East Kansas Street, Liberty, MO, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to stop by anytime during that timeframe. Brief remembrance remarks will be shared at 2:30 p.m.

The family will hold a private burial at Camden Point Cemetery. A celebration of life will also be held at a later date in Bella Vista, AR.
