It is with great sadness that we share the loss of our beloved mother, Barbara Jean (Cawood) Caldwell, 84. Born September 29th, 1937, and passed away December 2nd, 2021.

Barbara was born in Bentonville Arkansas where she met and married her high school sweetheart Glenn "Sam" Caldwell. After leaving Bentonville the family spent a few years in California before moving to Springfield where they would remain. She spent most of her working career with Conco concrete company in Springfield, who she considered her extended family.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Glenn; parents Clay and Blanche Cawood; brothers Lee and Ralph Cawood; sisters Betty Allmendinger and Margurette Cowgur; nephew John Cowgur and niece Susan Caldwell.

Barbara is survived by three children; Kay Caldwell, David Caldwell, and Ken (Susan) Caldwell; grandson Clay (Sarah) Caldwell; and the true joys of her life great-grandsons Carter and Mason who she loved so much. Also, nieces and nephews, Bobby, David, Mike, Mark, Gary, Janet and Mary Ann who she loved like her own children.

A family graveside service will be held in Bentonville Arkansas.
