Beverly Jean (Brown) Widner, of Bella Vista, Arkansas passed away on February 8, 2025. She was born on January 17, 1951, in Greenville, Kentucky to Billy Samuel Brown and Willa Jean Downey.

When Beverly was six years old, she moved to California with her mother and older brother, Bill. She grew up in Ontario, California and graduated from Chaffey High School in 1969. She earned her B.A. in Music Education from San Jose State University in 1974 and her teaching credential from Cal Poly Pomona. She was employed by the Norwalk-La  Mirada School District as an elementary school band director. In the mid 1980's she earned her master's degree in School Administration from Azusa Pacific University.

In 1986 she married the love of her life, Ronnie Widner in Claremont, California. In 1990 she gave birth to triplets Benjamin, Sarah, and Elizabeth. In 1992 Ronnie was transferred to New Jersey where the family lived until 1997. Upon returning to California in 1997, Beverly was employed by ABC School District in Cerritos, California as an elementary band director. After retirement, Ronnie and Beverly moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas in 2021.

Beverly was adored by her students and was an outstanding teacher and musician. She was fearless, traveling to Europe twice by herself and across the USA via bus also by herself. Her favorite things to do were going to Disneyland, classical concerts, musicals, and talking to people.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; brother, Bill Brown; and son, Benjamin Widner.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie; daughters, Sarah Garcia of Anaheim, California and Elizabeth Widner of Bella Vista, Arkansas.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Bella Vista Funeral Home, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, AR, followed by a celebration of life at 1:00 p.m.
