Bobby Lynn Galyean passed away on July 10, 2024. He was born on August 18, 1938, in Watterville, WA to Hunter and Cora Galyean.

Bobby was a lifelong resident of Gravette, Arkansas. He met and married his wife of 53 years, Lucille Krienke while serving in the United States Marine Corp. Lucy and Bobby were blessed with three children, Tim Galyean (Peggy), Brenda Galyean and Carla Eggebrecht. He was proud of his 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Bobby retired from Kraft in 1999. He also worked part time for MASSCO starting in 1997 and only recently retired.

Sports, especially Gravette High School, were his passion. He kept the clock and scoreboard at the football and basketball games for over 50 years. After retiring, you could still find him in the stands watching the games.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy; parents, Hunter and Cora; brother, Kendall Galyean; sister, Yvonne Galyean; and one great grandchild, Peyton Kirkendoll.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72715. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Heritage Baptist Church, 307 4th Ave SE, Gravette, AR 72736, followed by the burial at 12:15 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 13455 N Mt Pleasant Road, Gravette, AR 72736.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Gravette High School, c/o Athletics Department, 325 Lion Drive S, Gravette, AR 72736.
