Bobby John Horn, 90, of Bella Vista, AR passed away at home, under hospice care, on September 10, 2024, of respiratory failure due to dementia.  He was born October 21, 1933, in Danville, AR to Lillian (Lusby) and Robert Horn, Jr.

He graduated from Fort Smith High School 1951 and attended U of A.  Bobby served in the U.S. Navy.

His working life was in Oklahoma.  He worked at Sinclair Oil Co., owned Horn Oil Company, and 12 convenience stores under Speedboy Markets, Inc. He retired at the age of 48 and got his private pilot's license & bought a 4 place plane.  Off he went. He moved to Bella Vista, AR in 2000.

Bobby enjoyed tennis, golf, the AR Razorbacks, winters in South Texas and especially listening to his wife sing.  He loved RV traveling with his wife, poodle Lulu and later Gus, shitzu mix.   He was a member of Bella Vista Lutheran Church and lived life to the fullest.  He never met a stranger and will be missed.

He is survived by his wife,  Debra (Swisher) Horn of the home; son,  Randy (Cindy) Horn of Tecumseh, OK; daughter,  Margo (Tommy) Price of Del City, OK; stepson, John Elias; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Private celebrations of life,  lunches and dinners, will be held in AR and OK in his honor.
