Bobby Jean Soules, 90, resident of Bella Vista, AR, passed away October 9, 2025. She was born on December 27, 1934, in Aledo, TX, to Robert H. and Mary Burney Thompson.

She attended Aledo High School and North Texas State University in Denton, TX, with a bachelor's degree in education. She taught in several Texas schools, and ended her career in Lincoln, AR, where she taught 3rd grade for many years.

Bobby enjoyed all arts and crafts - painting, drawing, sewing, weaving, and ceramics, just to name a few. She was also an outstanding cook.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jack Thompson.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 66 years, Marion Soules; son, Tim Soules and his wife, Dana; son, Steve Soules; and granddaughter, Olivia Soules.
