Brad Keener, aged 60, passed from this life into the arms of his Savior, at approximately 10 AM, on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at home in Centerton, Arkansas, surrounded by his family.

Bradley Paul Keener was born on September 28, 1965, the youngest child of Donald Berman Keener and Patricia Annelle Porter Keener, in Trenton, Missouri. Shortly after his birth, the family moved to Marshall, Missouri, where Brad would graduate from Marshall High School in 1984. Brad spent many years as a lifeguard for the community pool, where he also enjoyed doing tricks off the high dive. As a Boy Scout, he ultimately earned his Eagle Scout award, being motivated by a desire to follow in his brothers' footsteps. In addition, Brad fulfilled the requirements to earn the Boy Scout God and Country award through his local United Methodist Church. Brad enjoyed playing sports of every kind--tennis, golf, ping pong, baseball, and bowling to name a few, and he loved anything to do with computers and technology. Brad was a Kansas City Chiefs fan his entire life and enjoyed watching them have success in recent years. Other passions of Brad's were his 1976 red Stingray Corvette, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Star Trek, and Star Wars, but most of all, his family. Brad was a lifelong learner with a wide variety of interests.

Brad extended his education at the University of Missouri-Columbia where he earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering in May of 1989. He spent his last two years at MIZZOU serving as a residential assistant, which is how he met his future wife, Angela (Angie) Lehenbauer. They were married on July 14, 1990, at Zion Lutheran Church, in Palmyra, Missouri, and made their first home in Independence, Missouri, where he was working for Missouri Public Service. In 1991, he took a job with ASEA Brown Boveri (ABB), which moved them to the Garland, Texas area. It was here where he and Angie would begin growing their family of four native Texans. Brad would also work for Electronic Data Systems (EDS) for ten years, as well as a few other companies, before making the move to Northwest Arkansas, in 2008, to take a position with corporate Walmart, where he worked in various departments for 15 years. At the time of death, Brad was a member of Cross Church Pinnacle Hills, in Rogers, Arkansas.

Brad was preceded in death by his parents and his oldest brother, Richard Keener, as well as his father-in-law, Paul Lehenbauer.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, Angie Keener; his children, Hannah Keener, Rebekah (Caleb) Farris, and Jonah (Andrea) Keener of the Bentonville, Arkansas area, and Noah (Madisen) Keener, of Cabot, Arkansas; his siblings, Joel (Nancy) Keener, of Vidalia, Georgia; Jan (James) Horton, of Blanco, Texas; and Kay (Don) Reed, of Grafton, Massachusetts; two grandchildren, Delta Rose and Forrest Lee Farris; as well as many nieces and nephews.

The last three years of Brad's life were spent facing the diagnosis of Behavioral Variant Frontotemporal Degeneration (bvFTD). He was blessed to be able to spend those years being cared for in his home, surrounded by his loved ones.
