Carissa Shannon
Crawford
May 18, 1976 — Jun 19, 2021
Bentonville
Carissa Shannon Crawford, 45 was born on May 18, 1976 to parents Robert Boling and Connie (Boling) Brooks at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers, AR. She lived her entire life in Bentonville and she was a 1994 graduate of Bentonville high School.
Carissa was a Baptist. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age so we take comfort in knowing that she is in Heaven with him now.
Carissa is survived by the love of her life and husband of 20 years, Warren Crawford and her children Levi Lewis and wife Sarah of Bentonville, Skyler Lewis and Jordyn Crawford, both of the home. Her grandchildren Noah and Lilah Lewis, father Robert Boling and stepmother Jackie, mother Connie Brooks and stepfather Tom, brother Michael Boling, father and mother in law Paul and Nancy Crawford, brother in law Will Crawford, nephews Haston David and Wade Crawford, niece Sami Jo Boling. Also numerous cousins, aunts and uncles and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cecil and Carrie Boling and Heinz and Helen Hoffman.
Carissa spent her entire working career at Walmart starting when she was 17 at Store 1 in Rogers, AR. She worked in various areas of the company over the past 28 years but her favorite position was her last as Reverse Logistics Manager. She was a loyal and dedicated associate and friend to her co-workers and all others that her job brought her in contact with.
Carissa was the heart of her family and she loved them fiercely. One of her greatest joys was being Memaw to Noah and Lilah. The family farm was her refuge and she loved being outside in her garden and playing with her goats. She was affectionately known as the Goat Lady to her family. She also loved her little dog Charlie. She joked that she was her pod partner while working from home during the pandemic.
Carissa was kind, generous, loyal and at time goofy and silly. She was the best wife, mother, mother-in-law, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, Memaw and friend. Her family will cherish her memory but she will be so greatly missed.
