Carol Denise Diamond, 66, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, passed away at home on February 17, 2022. She was born on August 11, 1955, in Wichita, Kansas, to William James and Ila Juanita (Kidwell) Diamond.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Fitness Management from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University) and established the Recreation and Fitness program at Texas Instruments in McKinney, Texas. There, she met her husband of almost 33 years, Charles Dean Widhalm.  They married on April 1 ^st (April Fool's Day) which says a lot about their enjoyment of the life God gave them! She helped establish The North Texas Enrichment Classes for Homeschoolers (N_TECH) in Plano, Texas, and she was actively involved in The Athletic Booster Clubs at Lucas Christian Academy and American Heritage in the Dallas area as well. Carol enjoyed being outdoors, camping, hiking, visiting National Parks across the United States and beach vacations!

She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers, Bruce Diamond and Mark Diamond.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Dean Widhalm; two sons, Kyle Diamond Widhalm and Kasey Dean Widhalm; her mother, Ila Juanita Diamond; two brothers, Tracy Diamond and David Diamond; three sisters, Donna Slaton, Cynthia Meador and Kelly Diamond and numerous nieces and nephews.
