Charles Norris Smith, of Bella Vista, Arkansas died on June 5, 2025. He was born on November 23, 1929, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Albert Smith and Zelma (Payne) Smith.

Charles was raised in Arkansas for most of his life. He attended school in Decatur, Arkansas. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Hiwasse, Arkansas, was active in church programs, was an ordained Deacon, and taught Sunday School for over 40 years. He was also a member of the Finance Committee, loved fishing and volunteered to help others. He was a carpenter and a builder.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Anita Belle Smith, Rowena (Smith) Meeks, and Carol (Smith) Wilson; two brothers, Johnny Smith and Val Smith; and his beloved wife of 58 years, Evelyn Sue (Londigan) Smith.

He is survived by two daughters, Charlene (Smith) Thompson and husband, Dennis Thompson of Cumming, Georgia and Gloria "Jeannie" (Smith) Brickner of Centerton, Arkansas; one son, Mark Smith and wife, Debbie Smith of Bella Vista, Arkansas; dear friend, Margaret Whitehead of Hiwasse, Arkansas; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Bella Vista Funeral Home, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Arkansas 72715, with a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. and burial to follow at Falling Springs Cemetery, Decatur, Arkansas.
