Charles Thomas VanMeter, 89, of Bella Vista passed away peacefully October 11, 2021.  He was born in St. Joseph, Missouri to Roosevelt and Alma (Arnold) VanMeter.

Charles was a graduate of Kansas University.  In 1955 he married Marguerite Louise Eubank.  He was a United States Air Force Veteran. He worked as an electrical power engineer with Sverdrup and Parcel throughout the states.  He and Marguerite retired to Bella Vista in 1992 where he enjoyed cards, fishing and golfing

Charles was preceded in death by his wife Marguerite, their parents, and his brother Larry.

He is survived by his sons Marvin of Sayre, Pennsylvania, Carl and wife Rhonda of Cuba, Missouri, Raymond of Rolla, Missouri; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Charles will be laid to rest beside his wife at the Highlands Methodist Church in Bella Vista, Arkansas.
