Conneye Sue Kraus, age 83, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2026, in Bella Vista, Arkansas. She was born on November 27, 1942, in Anthony, Kansas. She spent the first part of her life in the Winfield and Arkansas City, Kansas, communities.

Conneye married Robert Kraus in Arkansas City, Kansas, on May 8, 1982. Upon their retirement in 2004, Bob and Conneye moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas, where they enjoyed life and golfing together.

Conneye will be remembered for her outgoing spirit, quick wit, laughter, love of dancing, and golf. She cherished time spent with family and friends and had a wonderful way of making life brighter for those around her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kraus; her brother, Jerry Eckert; her stepson, Paul Kraus; her parents, Keith and June Johnson; and her granddaughter, Hailey Sanwick.

She is survived by her daughters, Julie Sanwick, Chris (Darrell) Hemphill, and Sherri (Terry) Smith; stepdaughter, Stephanie Kraus; stepson, Korbin Kraus; 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends.

A private graveside service was held on October 31, 2026 at the City of Bentonville Cemetery.
