Cynthia "Cindy" Rae Barmann (Warner), 72, of Bella Vista, AR, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, surrounded by her family and friends. Cindy was born on March 31, 1954, in St. Joseph, MO, the daughter of Gerald "Tike" and Marilyn Warner.
Cindy attended Central High School, graduating in 1972. She worked at City Hall for 14 years.
She married the love of her life, John Barmann, on October 3, 1987. Cindy and John moved to Edmond & Tahlequah, Oklahoma, where they lived for 16 years before retiring in Bella Vista in 2003. Cindy could often be found soaking in the sunshine at the pool or on the boat at the lake with family and friends. Sunshine and travel were among the things she enjoyed most. She and John spent their winters in Texas so they could enjoy more sunshine, fresh, authentic tacos, and strawberry daiquiris.
Cindy leaves behind her husband, John, of 38 years; their beloved dachshund, Shorty; Sister, Diana Hagan (Mark), St. Joseph, MO; Brother's, Steve Warner (AJ) and Mike Warner (Linda), both of Kansas City, MO; Sister-in-law, Donna Barmann, St. Joseph, MO; Brother-in-law, John Sidenstucker, St. Joseph, MO; Stepson, Thomas Barmann (Mindy), Guthrie, OK; Stepdaughter, Melissa (Randy), Agency, MO; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mona Sidenstucker; father-in-law, Joseph Barmann; and mother-in-law, Betty White.
A celebration of life will be held in St. Joseph at a later date.
