Dale F. Bergland, age 84, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2024, in Bella Vista, Arkansas. He was born on March 25, 1940, in Mower County, Minnesota to Millert and Alma Bergland.

He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, foster parent and friend.
He attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and completed his bachelor degree at the University of Minnesota.

He was a gifted woodworker and was certified for antique wood restoration.

Dale was raised on a dairy farm and remained a farm boy at heart. He even had one row of sweet corn in the backyard when he lived in Saint Paul. He was a plant manager for Northland Foremost Ice Cream and for Speas/Richter Vinegars. He spent his final working career as a Master Wood Finisher for Pinetiques Furniture Company. He retired on the farm he was raised on in Elkton and then moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas in 2009.

Dale Bergland will be remembered for his dedication to his family, being a loyal and hardworking employee, his mischievous spirit and his love for children. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Dale was preceded in death by his, wife Shelby; brother, Allen and his parents, Millert and Alma.

He is survived by his children, Eric (Brynn Hausemann), Kasandra (Bergland) Knudson, and Todd (Linda); cherished grandfather to Beck, Elsa, Miranda, and Alan.

A local memorial service for both Dale and Shelby will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at the Bella Vista Funeral Home, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd, Bella Vista, AR 72715. There will be a celebration of life in Minnesota next Spring
