Dayna Rae
Plummer
Jan 8, 1949 — Jul 1, 2025
Bella Vista
Dayna Rae Plummer, 76, of Bella Vista, AR, passed away peacefully at her home on July 1, 2025. She was born in Kansas City, MO, on January 8, 1949, to E. Marie Boles and Ray G. Dorrel.
Dayna received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Northwest Missouri State University. She worked for both Global Manufacturing, Inc and Frost, PLLC accounting firm, for many years in Little Rock, AR. After moving to Bella Vista, she went on to work for Haynes Limited and HCH Consulting in Rogers, AR., where she eventually retired in 2023. She made lifelong relationships in every place she worked throughout her professional career.
Outside of work, Dayna loved to play bingo, spending time with friends, watching the deer in her backyard, and like her late husband, Jack, she loved supporting the Razorback men and women's basketball teams and Lady Razorbacks' softball team. When she was younger, Dayna played softball in North Little Rock, AR and continued to coach for almost 20 years. She was seen as a motherly figure to her softball girls and always led by example throughout her life in her show of steadfast strength, independence, and wit. Dayna was a loving wife and mother with a successful career and made the balance of all 3 look effortless.
Dayna was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Jack; and beautiful daughter, Shellie Plummer.
She is survived by her niece, Courtney Richmond of McKinney, TX and many friends who will miss her dearly, but all of whom celebrate her being reunited with her very favorite two people in the world, Jack and Shellie.
A graveside service will be held at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock, AR on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dayna's name can be made to the Arkansas Razorback Foundation to support the women's softball team.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory. Online condolences may be made at www.funeralmation.com.
