Donald Lee Paxton was born on September 14, 1945, in Coffeyville, Kansas, to Preston and Sylvia Paxton. He passed away on August 25, 2025, at the age of 79, in Bentonville, Arkansas, surrounded by his loving family.

Donald dedicated over 50 years of his life to his work as a skilled drywall contractor, rarely taking a day off. He was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, enjoyed watching NASCAR races, and cherished his beloved pets.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Sylvia Paxton; brothers, Larry Paxton, Gary S. Paxton Sr., and Gary D. Paxton Jr.; and his sister, Kayleen Horst.

He is survived by his former wife of 47 years, Sheila Paxton; his daughter, Tina Gray; his son, Robert Paxton; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his wife of 13 years, Sharon Paxton, and five stepchildren, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren from that union.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service with military honors will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Bella Vista Assembly of God, 1771 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72715.
