Dorothy (Dot) Smyth, 94, Bella Vista, Arkansas passed away quietly on 9/5/2022 at the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas.

Dot was born in Johannesburg, South Africa on 01/26/1928.  Daughter of Scottish parents, John and Dorothy Bell.  Dot worked as an RN in South Africa and the US until her retirement when she moved to Florida and fell in love with ballroom dancing.  After ballroom dancing her passion changed to gardening, and she brought this passion to Bella Vista where she transformed the rocky ground of her home into a beautiful garden for the last 19 years.  We imagine she is now dancing in the best garden in the sky!

She is preceded by her husband, Reginald Alexander Smyth.

She is survived by her sons Robert John and Patrick Gordon Smyth.

Dot's wishes were for no ceremony.
