Dr. Carol K. Duckworth passed away September 6, 2026. She was born April 21, 1941, in Wichita, Kansas.

As an educator her career spanned serving students, both in the classroom and as an administrator, at the public school, community college, university, and graduate school levels.

She earned the Bachelor of Arts degree from Oklahoma Baptist University, Master of Science degree from Arkansas State University, and a Doctor of Education degree from Oklahoma State University. In addition, she served as a consultant with the U.S. Department of Education, Washington, D. C., in areas of grant writing, personnel training, program development, and personnel evaluation.

She belonged to Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Delta Kappa, was a member of Bella Vista Baptist Church and Bella Vista Community Church in Bella Vista, Arkansas, where she enjoyed personal growth activities within the church as well as within the community.

At her request no memorial service is planned.
