Duane Donald Pommerenke age 87, Bentonville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully from natural causes on June 11, 2022

He was born is Little Sauk, Minnesota on January 22, 1935, to Donald and Evelyn (Hublon) Pommerenke.

Duane graduated high school in 1953 and joined the military, Army division. Duane attended Dunwoody technical College and then began a career of over 40 years with the Coca - Cola Bottling Company.

In 1997 Duane and Marilyn retired to Bella Vista, Arkansas. Duane was an avid golfer, bowler and loved to play horseshoes with friends. He was spiritually active within the church and loved to play cards and cheer on his Razorbacks in football and basketball.

He was loved by many for his sense of humor and love of his family and will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Duane is proceeded in death by father Donald, Mother Evelyn, and brother Jim.

Duane is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Marilyn; daughter Julie (Mike) Crank; son Chris; stepdaughters, Karen (Dan) McGinn and Sandy (Don) Knudsen; grandchildren, Ryan, Emily, Eric and two great grandchildren, Brody, and Gavin.

Celebration of life service will be held at First United Methodist Church 20 Boyce Drive Bella Vista, Arkansas 72715 on June 29 ^th at 1:00 p.m. A gathering of family and friends will be immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.  A private interment will be held at the Fayetteville National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials to the American Heart Association or the First United Methodist Church of Bella Vista, Arkansas. All memorials can be sent to the First United Methodist Church 20 Boyce Dr. Bella Vista, Arkansas 72715
