Our Warrior, Elijah High, born February 8, 2010, went to be with the Lord on February 13, 2025, at 10:51 p.m. in Bella Vista, AR.

Elijah passed in his home embraced in the loving arms of his parents after a 16-month battle with childhood brain cancer. Throughout his battle, Elijah continued to wrap himself in the Armor of God, never wavering in his faith. Elijah showed the faith and courage of a true superhero.

Elijah was a devoted son and big brother. Elijah shared a passion for classic muscle cars with his father, and they dreamed of the day they would rebuild his dream car, a 1965 Ford Mustang. He was an avid mountain bike racer for his school team, Haas Hall Academy of Bentonville. He loved all things Iron Man. Even at the young age of 7 years old, he aspired to become a Mechanical Engineer and attend MIT just like his hero, Tony Stark. He discovered his love for Legos at a young age, and spent every available moment building store bought sets and developing his own personal designs. One of Elijah's favorite vacation pastimes was sitting on the beach, building sandcastles with his mom and little brother for hours.

Elijah's legacy is carried on by his parents, Dustin and Heather High; his younger sisters, Abigail and Isabella; and his younger brother, Samuel, who all reside in Bella Vista, AR.  Also carrying his legacy are grandparents, David and Rita Underwood of Marion, AR, and Steve and Kay High of Newport, IN. Elijah was a devoted friend and loved his closest friends as family. His inner circle included William Van Hersh and Lawson Goin of Bentonville, AR, and Sam Clark and Xavier Guerrero of Marion, AR.

When faced with incredible obstacles throughout his cancer journey, Elijah turned to his favorite bible passage, Psalms 23, for comfort and strength. Never once did he show an ounce of fear, in fact, he comforted those around him in dealing with the news. Elijah was our superhero. Elijah's parents find reassurance in knowing that in choosing the name Elijah, which in Hebrew means "My God is YahWeh", Elijah chose to follow the Lord and accept salvation at nine years old. He continued to shine a light by showing what true faith means, even to the very end.

Elijah's life will be celebrated on Saturday, February 22, 2025, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Cross Church Pinnacle Hills, 2448 Pinnacle Hills Pkwy, Rogers, AR 72758, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with a procession to follow to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Gravette, AR.

Elijah's family encourages attendees to wear clothing associated with one of his 5 favorite things: Iron Man (red and gold), mountain biking attire, Legos, Classic Cars, and Beaches/Hawaii.
