Elizabeth Ann Adams, 71, of Bella Vista, Arkansas died April 21, 2023, at her home, attended by family. She was born Elizabeth Wagoner in Clarinda, Iowa, the daughter of Wilbert and Velma Wagoner.

Liz was a 1969 graduate of Clarinda High School and went on to get a BS degree in elementary education from Iowa State University. She was married in 1973 to Mark Adams. The couple lived, worked, and raised their family in Marshalltown, Iowa.

Before, between, and after children, Mrs. Adams taught twenty years of kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. She knew no greater joy than to transform a non-reader into a lover of reading (as she was). Besides family, her other passions included golf, travel, cards, and mahjong.

Liz was masterful wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed by all of us.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Mark, three children, Megan Adams-Rieck, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, her husband, Andy, daughter, Norah, and son, Henry, Ann Powell of Austin, Texas, her husband, Jody and daughter, Alaina, Gregory Adams, Channahon, Illinois, his wife, Tracey, sons, Oliver and Jensen, and daughter, Evalena; and six grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date in Bella Vista.
