Elmer (Wayne) Dirck, 75, of Gravette, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, October 9 ^th , 2021, in Springfield, Missouri.  He was born January 7 ^th , 1946, in Pryor, Oklahoma to Ava Dirck.

Wayne was a member of the Fayetteville Purple Heart Association. He also enjoyed fishing and camping with family and friends.  He would talk about fishing with anyone. He touched so many lives around the fishing community. He enjoyed fishing with the Guys and Gals Fishing Club. He would also be a boat captain when needed for the Arkansas Youth Bass Nation.

He is preceded in death by his mom, Ava Fought; his father, Cecil Fought; his brothers, Gary Dirck and Richard Dirck; his niece, Sydney "Syd" Small and his brother-in-law, Earl Black.

He is survived by his loving wife of forty-five years, Linda Dirck; his five children, Nina Smith and Gary Dirck, both of Lakeland, Florida, Dennis (Bridgett) Dirck of Gravette, Arkansas, Ada (Dennis) Kyser of Wentzville, Missouri and Jimmy (Nichole) Dirck of Devine, Texas; his sisters, Linda (Danny) Banks of Hiwasse, Arkansas and Brenda Black of Maysville, Arkansas; twenty grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews that loved him very much.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Boulevard, Bella Vista, Arkansas, on Friday October 15 ^th , at 2:00 p.m.  A family meal will be held at the Gravette Civic Center. The family would welcome guests from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Gravette Civic Center.
