Fay Suzanne Shoemaker, of Bella Vista, AR, passed away on February 19, 2024. She was born on June 2, 1935, in Pittsburg, KS to Albert and Verna Toussaint.

Suzanne married her husband, Verle Shoemaker on April 13, 1953, and had four children, David, Daniel, Dale, and Derek. The family remembers her being a great Pastor's wife and a wonderful mother.

She worked at Hallmark Greeting Cards in Kansas City, MO, as well as newspaper offices and insurance companies across Kansas.

Suzanne and Verle made a step of faith  and moved to Bella Vista in 1997. They were active members of Bella Vista United Methodist Church where Suzanne sang in the choir. She was also a member of UWF and Naomi Circle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert & Verna Toussaint; brother, Jack; and son, Daniel.

She is survived by her loving husband, Verle; sons, David (Susan), Dale (Dale), and Derek; and grandchildren, Amy, Sarah, Austin, and Danielle.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church of Bella Vista, 20 Boyce Drive, Bella Vista, AR 72715, with Pastor Ron Hayes officiating.
