Flora Pittenger, age 88, Bella Vista, Arkansas, died May 21, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas.

Flora was born December 7, 1933, near Binford, North Dakota, to Henry and Annie Overby Hagle. She had five brothers, four sisters and one half-sister. She attended country school and high school at Binford, North Dakota.

Flora married Ellis Pittenger on October 18, 1951. Her daughter, Kathie Lou, was born at McChord AFB, Tacoma, Washington, July 2, 1952. Her son, Wesley Gene, was born in McVille, North Dakota, December 22, 1953.

The family moved to Bismarck, North Dakota, in April 1955. She was employed at A. W. Lucas Co. as manager and buyer of the children's clothing department for twenty-eight years. She retired in 1982 at age 49. After her husband retired in 1988, they enjoyed twenty-three winters in Mesa, Arizona.

Flora and Ellis moved to Brookfield Assisted Living in Bella Vista five years ago to be near their son.

Flora was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents; her sister, Florence Fiebiger; her brothers, Melvin, George, Alfred, Floyd and Harold; her half-sister, Sylvia Servatius and her granddaughter, Sarah Pittenger.

Flora is survived by her husband of seventy years, Ellis; her daughter, Kathie Lou (Mylo) Hagen; her son, Wesley (Cathe); her two granddaughters, Heather (Chris) Sailor and Carrie (TJ) Mittelstaedt; her great grandchildren, Dexter and Scarlet Sailor; her three sisters, Annette (Marvin) Borgerson, Millie (Bob) Lura and Evelyn Canton. She also leaves behind many nephews and nieces in North Dakota, Minnesota, Florida, California and Wyoming, along with her nieces and nephews in Canada: Larry (Lorna) Servatius, Vivian Gould, Gary (Judy) Servatius, Diane (Jim) Olson, and Rocky (Lori) Servatius.
