George William Engle, 89, of Pineville, Missouri, died Friday, December 17, 2021, in Rogers, Arkansas.

He was born on November 15, 1932, in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, to Marcus E. Engle and Mary I. (Fulton) Engle.

He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.  He moved to Pineville, Missouri, in 1994, from Rogers, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Jo; one sister, Irene Snook and two brothers, Robert C. Engle and Edgar R. Engle.

Survivors include his son, Marcus (Janelle) Engle of Bella Vista, Arkansas; his daughter, Mary (Brian) Chambers of Little Rock, Arkansas and four grandchildren, Carly, Piper, Collin and Gretchen.

A Memorial Service will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. 2938 Rains RD, Jane, Missouri 64856.  On 2/19/22 at 11am.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
