George "Bud" Walsh passed away January 11, 2022 and is now with our Heavenly Father. He was dedicated to his faith in God, to his family, and to his work. His wise counsel was frequently sought by his family and friends.

Immediate family members survivors include: daughter Cheryl Barbee of Royse City, TX; grandchildren and spouses; Brandon and Dalana Barbee of Rockwall, TX; Brooke (Barbee) and Chris McMaster of Poetry, TX; Misty (Barbee) and Patrick Baley of Rowlett, TX; and Nate Barbee of Royse City, TX. Hayden and Kara Walsh of Pryor, OK; Lauren Walsh of Owasso, OK; and Landon Walsh of Vinita, OK. Great-grandchildren; Adyn and Kal Baley of Rowlett, TX. Jada and Triplets; Colson, Remington, and Collins Walsh of Pryor, OK; brother Dan Walsh of Broken Arrow, OK. and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Preceded in death by his beloved wife Carolyn of 66 years and their son, Mike. Parents George and Lena Walsh, sisters; Betty and Rhea.

He worked as Operation Manager at McKesson & Robbins, wholesale Drug Company in Tulsa, OK for 23 years. He and his wife, Carolyn established Buddy Foods stores in the Grand Lake area which he continued until retirement. He enjoyed playing golf and traveling.

He was a man of God, active in a variety of churches. Over the years, he served in various roles with the church. He taught Sunday School, served as a Deacon and was part of multiple leadership committees. He was most recently a member of Village Baptist Church, Bella Vista.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 10 am, January 18, 2022, at Village Baptist Church, 380 Glasgow Rd. Bella Vista, AR.  Graveside Service following celebration of life at Bella Vista Memorial Garden Cemetery 34 Buckstone Drive Bella Vista, Arkansas.
