Grace Eleanor Meyer, 88, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, passed away April 27, 2022. She was born in Lebanon Missouri on February 15,1934, to John Raymond Hoag and Iva Matilda (Blue) Hoag.

Grace married Vernon Clark Meyer at Messiah Lutheran Church in Chicago on April 28, 1956. She was a member of Bella Vista Lutheran Church and thoroughly enjoyed her church family. Grace also enjoyed travelling throughout the world, painting in her art studio, sewing, biking, and camping.  She was an avid reader and a master at Scrabble and Word's with Friends. She loved nature. She was an Art Director and narrative author.  She had a poem published in the National Poetry Anthology while in school. She loved basketball and was a star player in High School. Grace was passionate about baking and cooking but most of all she thoroughly enjoyed and dearly loved her family and friends.

Grace is preceded in death by her husband, Vern, who passed in January of 2016.

Grace is survived by three children; Ruth Ann Burkholder, Michael Timothy Meyer (wife Theresa Grossman-Meyer), Vernon James Meyer (wife Beverly David Meyer); six grandchildren, Shanna Rae Alexander (husband Richard), Jake Russell Meyer (wife Darcy), Bridgett Burkholder, Brittney Burkholder, Aaron Michael Meyer, Elizabeth Marie Meyer (husband Derek); six great grandchildren, Alise, Anthony, Ambrose and Agustin Alexander, and Evan Jett Meyer; two sisters, Carol Kim, Doris Hunter and brother Jack Hoag; plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Her body will be cremated at the Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory, and her ashes are to be laid to rest next to her husband at the VA Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
