Helen Georgantonis
Cole
Nov 5, 1938 — Oct 10, 2021
Bentonville
Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, Helen Georgantonis Cole, entered God's eternal Heaven on October 10, 2021, at peace with herself and her loved ones.
Helen was born to Greek immigrant parents on November 5, 1938, in Amarillo, Texas. A true Grecian beauty, she was blessed with a remarkable love and expertise for classical music and was an amazing concert pianist. We were lucky to enjoy her beautiful music for all of our lives.
Helen attended St. Mary's Cathedral School and graduated in May of 1956. She worked in the private sector and was transferred to Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she met her soon-to-be husband, John Cole. They married and had three children—Michael, Jeanine and Stephen. She is preceded in death by her son, Stephen, her parents, George and Athanasia Georgantonis, and her ex-husband John Cole. Helen is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Dee Dee Cole of Bentonville, Arkansas, and Jeanine Cole Greene of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is also survived by her grandchildren—Kathryn and her spouse, Chase, Rex and his spouse, Erika, Kassandra, Chance, Bryce and Hailey, as well as her great-grandchildren—Grace, Kelly, Cara, Meysen and Emmaleigh.
Helen lived her later years in Bentonville, Arkansas, close to her son, Michael and daughter-in-law, Dee Dee where she participated in many joyous years of holidays, family and love. She was a Greek Orthodox devotee and was a member of St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church. She was known for her devotion and dedication to her religion, faith and strong belief in the afterlife. We bid her farewell and peace at last where there is no sorrow or pain. We love you, Helen.
May your memory be eternal. Aiwnia h mnhmh sou
