Helen "Kay" Roark, age 79, of Bentonville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2026, at Circle of Life Hospice. She was born in Omaha, Nebraska, to Helen Dorothy and Carl Thervald Krogh.
Kay lived in Omaha through high school, graduating from Central High School with the class of 1965. Kay remained close with many of her high school classmates throughout her life. After moving to Arkansas in 1978, Kay worked in several clerical roles in the medical industry before retiring from Bentonville High School as an Administrative Assistant.
Kay was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, and friend. Her greatest joy came from spending time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed attending the numerous activities of her grandkids, great grandkids, and their friends. Her warmth and kindness left an impression on all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
Throughout her life, Kay's love for family was unwavering. She cherished moments shared with loved ones, finding happiness in the simple pleasures of life-whether it was a shared meal or a friendly conversation. Kay's compassionate spirit, genuine laughter, and generous heart made her a beloved presence in her community.
Kay's family finds comfort in knowing that her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will live on through the many lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Carl Krogh; her mother-in-law, Hazel Roark; and her daughter, Jenny Haddock.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Tom; sons, Brandon Estes and family, Blayne Estes and family, Marty Roark and family; daughter Lisa Mears and family; sister, Carol Kems and family. Kayma is also survived by eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, all of whom she cherished deeply.
A celebration of Kay's life will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (drop-in) on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Northgate Plaza Event Center, 5113 West J.B. Hunt Drive, Rogers, AR 72758 with lunch to be served. Enter the parking deck from the West side and proceed to the top level.
