Jack Alan Kennedy, 89, of Bella Vista, took the hand of Jesus and was ushered into Paradise on November 25th at Green House Cottages of NWA, Bentonville. Jack was born in Neosho, MO on July 2, 1935.

Jack will always be remembered for his quick wit, jokes and teasing. He worked hard and played hard. During his career as an electrician, he worked for Armco Steel in Kansas City, MO, retiring in 1985 after 30 years of service. He immediately went to work for General Motors in Fairfax, KS, retiring in 1999. Jack and Janice moved to Bella Vista in May of 1999 from Lee's Summit, MO. Not long after moving, he became employed at Superior Industries in Rogers.

He was an avid golfer from a young age. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and playing cards. While golfing and fishing were his favorite past times, his love and pride for his children and grandchildren surpassed those favorites. He valued the time spent with them.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Orville Jefferson (Jake) and Nina Louise Kennedy; brothers, Kenneth, Robert, and Jeff; sisters, Louise and Lynn; daughter, Stacy; and grandson, Jack.

He is survived by his wife, Janice of 52 years; his children, Cynthia Zugelder (Vern), Douglas, Brett (Kim), Kyle, Todd, and Jamie Edwards (Jason); fourteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Bella Vista Funeral Home, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72715, with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Brandon Cox.
