Bella Vista
Jacqueline "Jackie" Ran Floyd Brewster, age 73, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, passed peacefully in her home on Sunday, November 16, 2025.
Jackie was born February 22, 1952, in Dumas, Texas, to Myles and Stella (Matherne) Floyd. She married Alan Brewster March 27, 1969, in Dalhart, Texas. Together, they raised their three children Michelle, Chris, and Danielle.
Jackie spent most of her working career in banking. She retired in 2019 as an Executive Vice President of Mortgage Lending.
Jackie was full of life; always involved in activities. She enjoyed playing and watching a variety of sports. She was a lifetime member of the Methodist Church and Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She was an officer in the Rotary Club, volunteered with the Purple Angels in Louisiana, and always advocated for many children's charities. Jackie loved dancing, whether it was floating across the floor with Alan, line dancing, square dancing, or randomly breaking out in dance when a song came on.
Jackie never met a stranger. She was an inspirational public speaker, humble to the core, and your biggest advocate and cheerleader. To know Jackie was to know the love of Christ on earth.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Myles and Stella (Matherne) Floyd.
Jackie is survived by her husband of 56 years, Alan Brewster of Bella Vista, Arkansas; her three children, Michelle Brewster of Bella Vista, Chris and wife, Lori Brewster of Lowell, Arkansas, and Danielle Brewster of Fayetteville, Arkansas; sisters, Sheila and husband, Bob Holyfield of Crossville, Tennessee, and Cindy Cornelius of Borger, Texas; four nieces and one nephew, seven grandsons, four granddaughters, four great-grandsons, and two great-granddaughters.
A celebration of life will be held at Highlands Church, 371 Glasgow Rd., Bella Vista, Arkansas on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Private interment will be at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jackie's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Hope Cancer Resources.
