Obituary

Jim Lemmon, "Howard", to those that knew him when he was young, passed away in the early hours on April 14 th , 2023.  Born on a farm on the Sac River outside Morrisville, MO to Oren and Faye Lemmon.  His father passed when he was young, a strong mother and four older sisters helped keep him out of trouble!

Jim spent four years in the Army culminating in service in Wiesbaden, Germany during peace time.  He worked his way through Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo where he met his wife, Jean Anne Pence who was in nursing school.  She preceded him in death.  They were married for 60 years.

He put his business degree to work in corporate real estate, his career culminating in 25 years of self-employment as a real estate developer.  He had a love of antique cars, serving on the Board of Directors of the Petit Jean Antique Automobile Museum and was an avid history buff.

Jim is survived by his daughter, Lori Cypher and her husband, Mike; grandchildren, Becky, Vicky, Rachel, Missouri, Ben, Susie, and Joe Cypher;  his son, Jim Lemmon and wife, Kristy; and grandchildren, Zach, Cole, Jakob, and Lucy Lemmon.

There will be a small family graveside service on Tuesday, April 18 th , 2023, at Seneca Missouri Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest next to his wife.
