James Ernest McCratic passed away September 10, 2021. James was born April 13, 1943, in Prairie Grove, Arkansas to Earnest Nathan McCratic and Marquenita Juanita McChristian.

James spent the majority of his life in farming. James was devoted to his family and loved them dearly. James, a marine for life, was active duty February 1968 - February 1970, serving his country proudly.

James is preceded in death by his wife Judy McCratic, his father Ernest Nathan McCratic, his mother Margaret Jaunita Thomas, his brother Jack and two sisters, Betty and Kathy.

James is survived by five children: John McCratic of Gentry, Arkansas, Robert and his wife Pam McCratic of Springdale, Arkansas, Mike McCratic of Gentry, Arkansas, Renee and her husband Ed Bethel of Pineville, Missouri and Judy Lynn Hicks of Springdale, Arkansas.  He is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
