James "Mike" Pearson, 76, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away peacefully October 23, 2025, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, AR. He was born March 18, 1949, in Fayetteville, AR to Winfred "Windy" L. and Wilma Pearson.

Mike grew up in Harmon, AR and graduated from Springdale High School in 1967. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the U. S. Army. After basic training in Fort Leonard Wood, MO, he was deployed to Vietnam until May 1969.

Mike worked at J.B. Hunt for over 30 years as a mechanic. He was a son, brother, uncle, dad, papa, and gramps. He was a serviceman and the best buddy in the world. He loved family get-togethers, watching car races, cheering on the Razorbacks, fishing, sitting by the lake camping with his family, and long drives through the country.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents; brother, Rick Pearson; sisters, Norma Wright and Jan Hazelett; and grandson, Chase Johnston.

Mike was survived by his daughters, Lea O'Dell (Nic) of Tahlequah, OK, Christy Perry of Houston, TX, Wendy Williamson (Ryan) of Rogers, AR; one sister, Beth "Liz" Sabata (Marty); 7 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at The Arbors at Pinnacle Ridge, 2100 W New Hope Rd, Rogers, AR 72758.
