James (Jim) T. Barkley, of Bella Vista, Arkansas passed away on January 4, 2023. He was born on June 18, 1949, in Douglas County, Nebraska. He grew up in Rockwell City, Iowa.

Jim received a teaching degree and taught 5 ^th grade math and coached girls' softball in Omaha, Nebraska. He then moved to Denver, Colorado and worked in real estate. He retired to Bella Vista, Arkansas in 2009, where he enjoyed golfing, painting, and cooking.

He is survived by his sister, Linda and husband, Bob Benton of Carlisle, Iowa; brother, Terry and wife, Kathy Barkley of Bella Vista, Arkansas; and many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
