Jennifer Reed
Mitchael
Oct 1, 1965 — Jul 3, 2025
Gravette
Jennifer Reed Mitchael passed away at her home on July 3, 2025, at the young age of 59. She was born on October 1, 1965, in Houston, Texas,
Jennifer, known by her grandkids as Gigi and Honey, was a force to be reckoned with. Those who had the honor of knowing her never doubted her deep love for them. Her life was marked by laughter, joy, Jesus, family, and friends.
Although it was hard to believe due to her positive demeanor and fighting spirit, she battled autoimmune diseases leading to unwavering pain for decades. While devastated by the hole that she has left, her family is thankful that she is at peace.
Jennifer loved chickens, gardening, warm weather, new hobbies, music, shopping, and being with her family. She could almost always be found with a glass of sweet tea or a cup of Sonic ice. Her hospitality was unmatched. From the moment you walked through her front door, you felt like you were a part of her family.
Jennifer is and will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles (Bud) Reed; her mother, Marilyn Reed; and her sister, Katie Reed.
Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, Jay; her son, Josh Mitchael; daughter-in-law, Andrea Mitchael; daughter, Jayni Chaufty; and son-in-law, Braden Chaufty. She is deeply missed by her five grandchildren, James, Marshall, Nevaeh, and Ember Mitchael and Marlowe Chaufty. She is also survived by one sister, Leisa Reed, and three brothers, Jeff, John, and Isaac Reed.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Fellowship Bentonville, 1611 McCollum Dr, Bentonville, AR 72712.
