Jerry Wayne Kail, 77, of Gravette, Arkansas, passed away on November 11, 2025, at Northwest Hospital in Bentonville. He was born on September 8, 1948, on a farm in Crockett County, Tennessee, to the late William McDonald Kail and Mary Ann Morris Kail.

In his younger years, Jerry enjoyed riding horses and tending to the family farm. After moving to Arkansas, he resided on and helped care for Betty and Dewell Stewart's farm, tending to cattle, gardening, and performing carpentry work.

Known for his tall, lean frame, and his signature outfit of a plaid shirt, blue jeans, boots, a trucker hat, and a big belt buckle, Jerry was easily recognizable and fondly remembered wherever he went.

Jerry spoke often of his daughter, Trisha Lee, and his many brothers and sisters. Jerry loved his momma, Mary Ann, and shared with her a deep appreciation for Kitty Wells and gospel music. He enjoyed morning coffee with dear friends, sharing conversations and jokes. He loved watching and reading westerns, as well as spending time doing crossword and word search puzzles.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Joe Kail, Tommy Kail, Paul Kail, Richard Kail, and William "Bud" Kail; sisters, Gladys Tucker and Linda Darling.

He is survived by his daughter, Trisha Flint (Harold) Headrick; grandson, William Steven Flint III; great grandson, Daryl Flint; brother, Roy Gene Kail; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Though not by blood, Jerry was family in every way to the late Betty (Dewell) Stewart; Amy (Mike) Cox; the late Stacy Graves; Kyle Cox; Bailee Cox; Terra (Nathan) Melanson and their daughter, Makenna; and Courtney (Jeremy) Andrews and their son, Henley. His steady presence and big heart will be deeply missed by both his family and all who loved him.
