John (Johnny) Becker Jr. passed away peacefully in his sleep & immediately into the presence of Jesus on January 24th, 2023, at the age of 81 yrs. He was lovingly born into his family at their home in Goltry, OK on April 29 ^th 1941. He was born again in by grace through faith in Christ when he was 9 years old and then baptized in the Cimarron River in Orienta, OK.

John Becker Jr. was born at his parents' home into a Mennonite family originating from Russia and Poland. When Johnny was four years old the family moved to a farm in Fairview, OK and went to school in first grade in Banner, a one room schoolhouse. From there the schools were consolidated and he went to Progressive Grade school followed by Fairview High. In his early childhood, he played with his slightly older sister Vivian; they would swim in the cattle water tank, & ride bicycles. They also rode in the combine with their dad as he harvested wheat; they had so much fun! They also sat on the fenders of their dad's tractor while he plowed the fields; it's amazing they never fell off! His older sisters doted on him, the baby of the family. He helped a lot on the farm but was exposed to carpentry through his grandfather when he was about 15 years old and really took interest in it. He later found success in building homes as a framer and did very well with that over the years having many show homes. He was a very intelligent man and amazing at what he did. In Johnny's 20s his father died from cancer and he later married his first wife and fathered four boys. Later he moved to Rogers, Arkansas - married Melinda Reeser in 1979 and went on to build a family as he built houses. His relationship with the Lord deepened at Immanuel Baptist in Rogers, Arkansas where he faithfully served in the Bus Ministry for over 20 years.

Haiti held a special place in his heart, and he took a handful of work mission trips there and loved sharing the Gospel. He and Melinda raised 3 children, a girl (Joanna), boy (Philip) and younger girl (Rachel). He was very proud of ALL his children and felt incredibly blessed. After his wife Melinda died in 2018, he kept himself busy with visiting with his local son, Philip & his children, seeing his son Stan, visiting with his daughters and beloved grandchildren, going to weekly men's Bible study as well as church services, and speaking with his sister on the phone. He enjoyed walks with his dog, Ralph (who is missing him a lot!), other friends and neighbors as well as visits with church friends. Anyone who knew him also knew how he loved Eschatology, Daystar and the weather! Now passed from this life and into the arms of the Savior he so deeply loved, we remember the life he led devoted to the Lord and an incredibly happy man with his kids and several grands that he loved with all his heart. If you're reading this - John would want you to know, "Do you know for SURE you're going to Heaven when you die?" Acts 4:12 There is Salvation in no one else, for there is no other name (JESUS) under heaven, given among people by which we must be saved.

He was predeceased in death by his loving wife of 39 years; son, Mark Becker; son, Larry Becker; his brother, Robert Becker, his brother, Leo, & sister, Mavis.

He is so deeply & lovingly missed but with a hope of seeing him again one day by all his children and Grandchildren as well as his one remaining beloved sister, Vivian residing in Sulpher, OK and extended family.

He is survived by son, Stanley Becker, of Westville, OK, Daniel Becker & his wife, Stephanie of Bentonville, AR; his daughter, Joanna Tripp, husband, David of Largo, FL; his son, Philip Becker of Bentonville, AR; his daughter, Rachel Rivers and her husband, Mike of Texarkana, AR; grandchildren, Colleen Becker, Everett Becker, Melanie Van Therese and husband, Terry, Corban, Atalia, Eloria, Axel, Lily, Jotham, Samantha, Mackenzie and Rylee; and great grandchildren, Trevor and Alex.

A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, February 4th, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at  Mildred B. Memorial Chapel. 504 Memorial Dr. Bella Vista, AR 72714.
