Obituary

John Richard Jaeger, 88, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away June 30, 2025. He was born on December 1, 1936, in Waterbury, Connecticut to Ralph Hallis Jaeger and Pauline Elliot Jaeger. He grew up in Connecticut with his two brothers, Allen and Ralph.

John met his beloved wife Ann, while serving in the US Airforce. They lived in California, Colorado, and Texas and shared a love for travel, dogs, and the Lord.  As a member of The Reformed Church in Plano, John served on the Facilities, Outreach and Greeting teams. After moving to the Bella Vista area John joined the Village Bible Church where he thrived making numerous friends, he considered his family. Though they never had children of their own, both John and Ann showed a deep commitment and affection for children, supporting many organizations benefiting children. John was also a 32nd Master Mason, a fraternal organization with a long history and system of moral and ethical teachings.

John was a great storyteller as well as a good listener. He easily shared his love for God and was passionate about his church. He will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Ann.

He is survived by his cousin, Judy Tritz, several nieces and nephews, and numerous friends he called family.

A committal service will be held at Fayetteville National Cemetery, 700 Government Avenue, Fayetteville, AR 72701, on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 10:30 AM, followed by a memorial service at Village Bible Church, 1591 Forest Hills Boulevard, Bella Vista, AR 72715 on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM.
