John William Konnesky, of Bella Vista AR, passed away on September 7, 2026, after battling pancreatic cancer. He was born December 20, 1944, in Hutchinson, Kansas to Joseph and Helen Konnesky. He grew up in Hutchinson where he met his wife, Karen, and started a family.

In 1973 John and his family moved to Dodge City, Kansas where he started his own custom kitchen cabinet business out of his garage. As Kitchens, Inc. grew into a thriving small business, he eventually purchased a building and property in 1976 where he continued to design and sell custom cabinets for residential and commercial clients. He was highly respected and loved by his family, friends, customers, employees and business suppliers. He was honest, hardworking and always willing to help someone out. He had a natural talent to bring a beautiful design to life.

After owning and working at Kitchens, Inc. for 36 years, he sold the business and moved to Bella Vista, AR to enjoy retired life. There he enjoyed playing golf, Mexican Train and hosting family and friends at their home. John and his wife enjoyed extensive travel with longtime friends, both home and abroad. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, John William Konnesky Jr, and his parents, Joseph and Helen Konnesky

John is survived by his wife Karen; his children and their spouses, Shelley and Weston Winter, Becky and Johnny Lamontagne, and Jeff and Joy Konnesky; his grandchildren, Haley and Jordan Sibley, Alex Pickart, Walker and Allie Winter, Sydney Winter, Emily Lamontagne, Megan Lamontagne, Sean Duffy Sarah Lamontagne, Jake and Maddie Konnesky, Kevin Konnesky, and Katelyn Dulle and Luke Konnesky; his 4 great grandchildren, John Ruck and Caroline Sibley, William Winter, and Ella Konnesky; his brother, Joe Konnesky; and his sisters, Grace Watts and Inez Pankratz. A memorial service will be held Monday, October 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Highlands Church, 371 Glasgow Rd, Bella Vista, AR 72715.
