It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Julie Ann Kennett on April 28, 2025, at the age of 72 in Bella Vista, AR, from cancer. She was born on December 30, 1952, in Eureka Springs, AR to Cecil and Lola Belle Walker.

Julie worked as a general merchandise manager at Harps food store. She was very outgoing and loved cooking, fishing and feeding all the wild animals - birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and ground hogs. Julie was a loyal Cubs and Razorback fan and loved to watch Jeopardy.

Even though cancer took Julie away from this world, her loving heart left a beacon of light for all in the community.

She is survived by her husband, John Kennett; children, Shawn Kennett, Jeffery Kennett (wife Karolyn) and Jason Kennett (wife Erica); her brothers, Roger and Elliott Walker; sister and husband, Cathy and Guy Wilkerson; four grandchildren, Braden, Rhett, Gracie and Khloe; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Eureka Springs Historical Cemetery, 4127 E. Van Buren, Eureka Springs, AR 72632 with Rev. Tim Garrison officiating.
