Karen Ann (Kisner) Dove, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on August 29, 2024.

Born in Hays, Kansas, on September 3, 1948, to William "Bill" and Mary (Schaffer) Kisner, she was the oldest of five siblings. The family later moved to Stafford, Kansas, and Karen graduated from Stafford High School in 1966. During high school, Karen was a member of the cheerleading squad and played volleyball.

Karen married high school classmate and childhood friend Lynn Dove on October 30, 1974. Together they had a daughter, Jessica, and were married for nearly 50 years at the time of her passing.

In 1987, Karen and Lynn moved to Ness City, Kansas, where they lived until 2005 before moving to Bella Vista, Arkansas.

Karen played competitive softball for many years, enjoyed playing golf with friends, spending time camping with her family and watching her daughter's various activities.

Karen was an incredible woman who cared deeply and was always thinking about others. She will be missed by many, but the family is comforted knowing she is healed and at peace in the arms of the Lord.

Karen is survived by her husband, Lynn; daughter, Jessica; stepdaughter, Korina; brothers, Kenny and Bill; sisters, Konnie and Kathy; grandchildren, Joseph, Jaynee and Justine; and four great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Bella Vista, 20 Boyce Drive, Bella Vista, AR 72715.
