Keri Davis
Coleman
Aug 6, 1971 — Jan 5, 2026
Bella Vista
Keri Davis Coleman, affectionately known as "Chicmomma," age 54, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, passed away on January 5, 2026, in Bella Vista.
Keri was born on August 6, 1971, in San Diego, California, and graduated from Siloam Springs High School in 1990. Most recently, she began working at the Dollar General store in Bella Vista, where she was genuinely happy and took pride in her work and the people she served.
Above all else, Keri's greatest love was her family. She was an incredibly proud mother and grandmother, finding the deepest joy in her children and grandchildren. About a year ago, Keri moved in with her parents, a time that brought her great comfort and happiness as she cherished being close to them and helping in any way she could. Family was not just important to Keri—it was her purpose.
Keri had a heart that extended far beyond her family to all living creatures, big and small. Her compassion for animals was instinctive and unwavering; she believed deeply in kindness toward every living being. She held a special passion for lions, drawn to their strength, beauty, loyalty, and quiet power. The lion represented much of who Keri was herself—fierce in love, protective of those she cared for, and strong even in silence. Her admiration for lions reflected her own courageous spirit and tender heart.
Keri will be remembered for her boundless love, her gentle compassion for all living beings, the warmth and love she gave so freely to her family, and the powerful yet tender spirit she carried throughout her life. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the love she gave freely, and the strength she showed every day.
Like the lion she loved, Keri's heart was brave, her spirit untamed, and her love everlasting.
Keri was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Davis.
She is survived by her loving parents, Clint and Loneta Davis of Bella Vista; her children, Christopher Shirley and his wife, Kay, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her daughter, LaRae Shirley, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; and her son, Austin Freeman, of Rogers, Arkansas; her brother, Marc Davis, and his wife, Lisa of Fayetteville, Arkansas; her sister, Keli Guess and her husband, Marvin of Denver, Colorado; and her three cherished grandchildren, Scarlet of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Kai and Kayson of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; as well as many nieces and nephews who brought her endless pride and joy.
A memorial service celebrating Keri's life will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., at Church of Christ, 2022 S. 13th Street in Rogers, Arkansas.
