Lana Kay McDonald, of Bella Vista, died October 24, 2025, at Apple Creek Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on March 13, 1947, in Garden City, Kansas to Madison Downing and Ruth Bixler.

She attended the University of Kansas. Lana was Parish Administrator of St. Theodore's Episcopal Church. She enjoyed reading, musical activities, and watching KIJ sports.

Her husband, Rob McDonald, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her stepchildren, Christopher McDonald and Jennifer Traffis.

Final services will be held at St. Theodore's Episcopal Church, 1001 Kingsland Rd, Bella Vista, at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5, followed by a reception with the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
