Larry Schoenhard, age 84, Bella Vista AR sadly left us on December 27, 2024, at Apple Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Centerton AR. He was born September 30, 1940, in Pierre, SD to Sylvester and Esther (Lien) Schoenhard.

He grew up in Presho, SD and graduated from South Dakota State University in 1965. He was employed as a Program Manager for the South Dakota Department of Transportation until he retired in July 1999.

On December 28, 1963, he married Louween (Buzz) Ashbaugh in Clear Lake, SD.

Larry enjoyed street rodding, drag racing, pheasant hunting and restoring  old cars.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Stephanie (Jeff) Blecher; son, Mark; granddaughter, Meaghen (Billy) Wolff; grandsons, Jonathan and Daniel; and great granddaughter, Kinsley.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Bella Vista Funeral Home, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72715, with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Jo Jones. Larry's family, friends, and members of the Heartbeat of the Ozarks Car Club will gather with their classic cars to celebrate his life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial donations be sent to Volunteer Council, Booneville Human Developmental Center, 87 Reed Rd, Booneville AR 72927 in honor of Larry's special needs grandson Daniel.
