Leeland L. Peabody, 84, of Bella Vista, AR, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023. He was born in Cutler, ME.

Lee was in the Navy for 10 years and a lifetime member of the VFW. He owned a trucking company in California and moved back to Cutler after retirement so he could commercially fish lobster and scallop drag. Lee and Debbie moved to Bella Vista in 1994 where he worked for the POA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Athyleen and Lynwood Peabody; brother, Carroll; and sister, Elsie Foss.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Debbie; three children, Larry Peabody, David Peabody, and Corita Pressley; and four stepchildren, Sheri, Larry, John, and Mark Cashman.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
