Leonard Eugene Allen, age 91, of Gravette, Arkansas, died February 8, 2022.  He was born on December 23, 1930, in Hooker, Oklahoma to Harvey and Cora (Fouty) Allen.

In 1935 the family moved to Gravette, Arkansas. Leonard graduated from Gravette High School, class of 1950.  He was drafted into the US Army. He retired from Simmons Foods, where he was employed as a manager in the chicken processing plant department.

Leonard married Dorothy J. Reese in 1952. They were members of the Assembly of God Church in Gravette.

Leonard is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; Lloyd, Robert, Donnie; and three sisters, Maxine, Geraldine, Ruby.

Leonard is survived by his wife Dorothy; son Dean (Mary Ann) Allen; daughter, Brenda (Bryan) Cole; and 4 grandchildren, Mike (Wendy), Michelle (Scott), Erin (Mike), and Kylee (Jarred).

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 11, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Gravette.
